Indigenous Plant Wisdom • Embodiment • Herbal Medicine Making • Community Connection
Come gather in community for an evening of plant wisdom, herbal medicine making, storytelling, and reconnection with the Earth.
Join us for a deeply nourishing and immersive evening of Indigenous plant wisdom, herbal medicine making, grounding practices, storytelling, and community connection as we explore the healing properties and traditional uses of Juniper.
This 3.5-hour experience is designed to be both educational and transformational — weaving together ancestral herbal knowledge, nervous system grounding, embodiment practices, and hands-on medicine making in a warm and welcoming community space.
Together, Aurora and Jenni guide participants into deeper relationship with the land, the plants, the body, and the wisdom carried through generations.
Throughout the evening, participants will create and take home:
Juniper Tea
Juniper Tincture
Juniper Salve
We'll gather to learn practical herbal preparation techniques, hear traditional teachings and stories, and experience grounded moments of reflection and connection. It is an invitation to slow down, remember, and reconnect to the land.
Aurora Riddle is Pima and Yaqui. Her father was enrolled Pascua Yaqui and she was raised with traditional plant medicine from early childhood. Growing up in a remote environment without electricity, running water, sewer systems, phones, or modern conveniences, Aurora’s family lived directly from the land — hunting, gathering, hauling water, using an outhouse, and relying on ancestral herbal remedies instead of Western medicine. One of Aurora’s earliest memories was burning her hand badly as a child. Her mother immediately applied Juniper berry ointment. The pain stopped almost instantly, and within days the blisters were healing without scarring. Through many personal health challenges throughout her life, plant medicine has remained a profound source of healing, resilience, and connection. This workshop is the beginning of sharing some of that wisdom in community.
Juniper has long been used in Indigenous and traditional herbal practices for cleansing, purification, respiratory support, immune support, skin healing, and energetic protection.
In this workshop, we will explore Juniper both as practical medicine and as a plant ally with deep spiritual and cultural significance.
Participants will gain foundational knowledge while learning respectful and intentional ways of working with this powerful plant.
During our 3.5-hour immersive workshop, you will:
Learn about Juniper’s traditional uses and healing properties
Hear stories and teachings rooted in lived Indigenous experience
Explore the relationship between land, healing, and ancestral knowledge
Learn foundational herbal preparation techniques
Create and take home:
Juniper Tea
Juniper Tincture
Juniper Salve
Connect in a grounded and heart-centered community space
This workshop is designed to be experiential, educational, and accessible for both beginners and those already interested in herbalism.
Aurora shares Indigenous plant wisdom and traditional herbal practices while Jenni Alma Rose guides the space through grounding, embodiment, nervous system connection, reflection, and community integration. Together, Aurora and Jenni weave Indigenous plant wisdom, herbal medicine making, embodiment practices, storytelling, and community connection into a deeply grounded and heart-centered experience. Aurora brings lived ancestral knowledge, traditional plant relationships, storytelling, and hands-on herbal medicine education rooted in a lifetime of connection to the land. Jenni brings expertise in embodiment, breath, nervous system awareness, holistic wellness, and transformational group facilitation — helping participants slow down, regulate, reflect, and deeply receive the medicine and teachings being shared. This unique collaboration creates an experience that is both practical and deeply experiential — honoring the plants not only as remedies, but as teachers and allies.
We believe healing work and education should remain accessible while also honoring the value of Indigenous knowledge, preparation, materials, and facilitation.
